China’s macroeconomic data at the beginning of this year showed a strong rebound in supply while demand remained sluggish, especially at home, with real estate being the weakest part.
Value-added industrial production, adjusted for price factors, increased by a solid 7% year-on-year in the January-February period. After seasonal adjustment, the month-on-month increases in the first two months averaged 0.86%.
