Gallery: Icemen Cometh For Harbin’s Festival Sculptures

Ice pickers are hard at work on the frozen Songhua River in preparation for the Northeast China city of Harbin’s ice and snow sculpture festival in January. They are collecting large quantities of ice blocks for delivery to Harbin Ice and Snow World, a key attraction during the annual winter festival, where they will be shaped into hundreds of different sculptures
